Tottenham v West Ham

Spurs look set to overcome travel-sick Hammers.

While most Spurs fans will be eagerly awaiting their Champions League semi-final first-leg on Tuesday, the small matter of securing a top four finish is still the immediate priority for Mauricio Pochettino.

The last-gasp win against Brighton—combined with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all stuttering below them—has put Spurs in a fantastic position, and their clash with West Ham on Saturday is a massive chance to press this advantage further.

The Hammers have been comfortably safe from relegation for a long time, meaning their one point and two goals from their last eight away games has gone totally under the radar.

This dreadful away form is why I’m backing Spurs to win to nil, priced very well at 7/4. Spurs are yet to concede at their new stadium, and I don’t imagine this misfiring (on the road at least) West Ham outfit will change that.

Tottenham [To Win To Nil] is 7/4 @SkyBet

I’m so confident Spurs will win without conceding, I’ve got a tasty little price-boosted longshot along the same vein: Spurs to win 2-0 at 8/1.

Four of The Hammers’ last eight away games have ended in a 2-0 defeat, and I just can’t imagine any other outcome. West Ham won’t be as leaky as Huddersfield, and they won’t be as negative as Brighton.

2-0, at 8/1, is a good price.

Tottenham to win 2-0 is 8/1 @Bet365
